How much does it cost to attend the event?

There is no cost to attend the event. The event is open to all government employees and there is a wait list for industry, academia and press.

Who should attend the event?

Federal and state and local government, education, federal systems integrators, and public sector industry professionals will convene for the Google Public Sector Summit — including members of the C-suite (CIO, CISO, CTO); AI and cybersecurity leaders and decision makers; IT management; security and intelligence analysts; and others interested in the topic.

Will the event be live streamed or recorded?

There will be no live stream however select sessions will be available on-demand to registered attendees after the event has concluded.

Is there a dress code for this event?

We’re recommending business casual attire for our speakers and attendees. Please wear whatever you feel most comfortable including comfortable walking shoes. Military members are invited to wear their utility uniforms (OCPs, NWU, MCCUU, flight suits, etc).

Will meals be served at this event?

Can I earn CPEs at this event?

2024 Google Public Sector Summit attendees are eligible to receive continuing professional education (CPE) credits. Attendees can earn a maximum of 7 CPE credits in information technology.

In order to verify your CPEs, you will be required to document your name on the CPE attendance sheet located at the registration desk onsite. Be sure to return to the registration desk to document your time out. If sign in and/or sign out times are not documented, FedScoop LLC (Scoop News Group) is unable to verify your attendance and therefore cannot award CPE credit.

How are you working to keep Google Public Sector Summit attendees safe and secure?

Your safety at Google Public Sector Summit is our top priority. You will likely see a strong security presence, and there will also be many people working behind the scenes to help keep you safe. We’re prepared to respond to incidents in partnership with local, state, and federal authorities.

We’ll have metal detectors at the entrances to the Ronald Reagan Building so please anticipate and plan for long lines. All bags will be subject to search upon entering any conference site.
